The PA is Midas Venice 320, Klark-Technik 360N - balanced, Drawmer gates & comps, tc electronics M1 & D2, QSC power, EAW 650’s, EAW MX800i processing. There’s loads of headroom. Outside engineers are welcome to operate providing they are competent, sober and don’t clip anything.
The Biltmore PA is an analog 4-way stereo EAW rig with Jason JS1 subs. There are 2 flown EAW 650 mid-highs per side and 2 double-18 subs on the floor. There are no rear fills. The subs do not run off of an auxiliary. Strip EQ does not affect monitors. We have 20 mikes and 10 channels of DI plus access to more, 3 sub-snakes and loads of stands and XLR. We have no wireless mikes.
The Biltmore has 4 bi-amped monitor mixes from Front of House. There is a 31-band graphic eq for each mix. The center mix has two monitors. The drum fill has two 15-inch JBL 2226H speakers and a JBL 2445 2-inch horn. The carpeted stage is 20 by 20 by 2. Drum riser is 6 by 8. The stage has been soundproofed and is surrounded by thick theatre curtain. The room has a low ceiling, is roomy and has been recently renovated. The capacity is 352. We are set up for broadcast mixes & video feeds. We have a snake split on stage. There are 6 AC quad boxes to the front and back of the stage.
There are 3 LED color blasters as a front wash and 6 LED Par cans on stage. There is 1 Fresnell as a side wash, 1 ACL, two lit disco balls and a fog machine. We have a full DJ rig with mixer, 2* CDJ 1000’s, 2 * Technics 1200’s. We have a screen and projector that accepts VGA/Mini DVI from Front of House and is connected to our DVD player. If you are connecting your computer to our projector you must know how to configure your computer properly.
There’s loads of parking on Prince Edward Street or the Howard Johnson’s lot across the street. Load in from Prince Edward Street. There are 7 stairs down. We have a rate at the Howard Johnson’s and it’s close enough to function as a dressing room. We have a small green room. We do not take points on merch. We can arrange backline, a lighting operator, live recording and separate monitor desk. Check the website for complete tech specs. Please contact the audio engineer to advance your gig.
